Exchange students taking this course have to enrol in three Performance Study component units, including HKU Chamber Singers, HKU Gamelan, HKU PercussionEnsemble, and Instrument Workshop. Admission to the course is at the discretion of the Head of the School of Humanities on the recommendation of the Department's Undergraduate Coordinator.

Assessment Methods
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
  • demonstrate mastery of appropriate performance skills;
  • demonstrate the ability to perform publicly at concerts, recitals, or workshops organized by the Music Department;
  • demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the styles, characteristics, and performance practices of the music studied.
