
Ben Pelletier is a trombonist with a career spanning classical performance and commercial music. He has appeared at prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, the White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg, and the Singapore Arts Festival. He currently serves as Principal Trombonist of the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble and the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, in addition to frequent engagements with leading orchestras across Asia. His commercial credits include collaborations with internationally renowned artists such as the Temptations, Jacky Cheung, and the Gypsy Kings, as well as performances in major theatrical productions, including The Phantom of the Opera and Wicked.
Committed to music education, Pelletier holds adjunct faculty appointments at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He further contributes to the cultural landscape as the presenter of RTHK’s flagship arts programme, The Works.
